We write ‘information books’ for readers of all ages, but especially for children and young people. Like many other writers and educators, we are concerned about how young people get information – and the quality of the information they are offered. Books, we believe, are vital to children’s enjoyment and understanding of the world, to complement all the other information technology at our fingertips.
Today information cascades over us. In our books and other media work for young people, we aim to inform and entertain. It’s a belief shared by others in our business: to present facts with accuracy, to stimulate imaginations, and to give readers, in all media, simply - the best.
